32 books in less than year! [Goodreads Challenge]

32 books in less than a year!

I love reading and to be honest, I’ve only started reading A LOT last year because I got myself an e-reader. Otherwise, I hate dragging myself to the library and have a 2 weeks reading time to finish my books.

Goodreads has a yearly challenge of how many books you want to read in the year. It’s my first time doing this challenge and a friend suggested 32 books. How he got that number, I have no idea but now that I’ve finished the challenge, I felt 32 books isn’t enough. It still records how many books you’ve read once you past your goal so by the end of the year, I’ll have a better idea what my next year goal will be… I’m thinking 50!

My main focus for next years book is to tackle my to-read list. I have a bad habit of adding books onto that list and then when I start a new book, I open one that isn’t on the list… haha, anyone else does that too?

Any of you have a Goodreads account? Let me know your reading habits and Goodreads profile so I can follow you!

  1. Congrats on reaching your goal! That's so awesome. I love reading too! So much fun to get lost in books. I have Goodreads, but I just got it last month. I definitely plan on setting a goal for myself next year, but I haven't decided how many! I've only read 20 books this year though.

    1. 20 books is great! If I never got an e-reader, I wouldn't have even read 10 books, let alone 20 to be honest. If you've read 20 so far, I would say maybe 35-40 should be the goal. Good luck and can't wait to hear how your challenge goes next year! 😀

  2. Woohoo! Congratulations girl! I got a kindle app on my tablet 2 months ago and I already read 3 and half books #success. Looks like I'm meeting my typ-o lady in blogsphere haha!

  3. How nice! I used to read a lot but haven't had the time or I've been too restless the last couple of years. Now I have a new better job and I have started reading again :). I prefer real books instead of e-readers though.

  4. Oh, this seems like an awesome challenge! I have a Goodreads account, but hardly use it enough. I think reading more should definitely be my resolution for next year…
